J.H. Fitzpatrick Ltd. is currently seeking a 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Agricultural Mechanic to join our busy workshop in Monasterevin, Co. Kildare.
This role would suit a committed apprentice looking to continue their training in a practical, hands-on environment while completing their apprenticeship.
Key Duties & Responsibilities

Servicing, maintenance, and repair of agricultural machinery

Fault finding and diagnostics on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems

Assisting qualified mechanics with major repairs and rebuilds

Routine servicing and preventative maintenance
-
Attending on-farm breakdowns when required

Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and workshop housekeeping
Requirements
-
Registered 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Agricultural Mechanic (SOLAS approved)

Strong interest in agricultural machinery

Good mechanical and problem-solving skills

Willingness to learn and take instruction

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable, punctual, and with a strong work ethic

Full clean driving licence an advantage
